Convention season is now in full swing with some of the biggest conventions and thus cosplay events almost upon us. This time of year is always busy for the con hopper but it is worse this year with a convention every two weeks for 10 weeks for a total of 5 conventions.

On the weekend of the 25th and 26th was AVCon, Adelaide's premier games and anime convention which was very well received. This coming weekend with be SMASH! held at the University of New South Wales as they expand from one to two days.

Following that people can look forward to Manifest (Melbourne), Animania (Sydney) and Animania or Gencon (Both Brisbane same weekend). More information can be found about all these events on the calendar page.

Reports and photos will be coming for these conventions but due to them all being so close together there is an over-abundance of information to go through. Hopefully you will manage to get to one of these events and have a very enjoyable time.
