Amaranth 2010

The Amaranth Ball is a glamorous event held by the renowned anime convention, Melbourne Anime Festival. It is a formal event that entwines elegance together with Japanese pop culture, attracting an audience from all over Australia. The evening features many social games and events, a two-course meal, and the attendees’ favourite: a beautiful dance floor accompanied with tasteful music, including popular Japanese songs. Visitors may be entranced by the whirl of colours: attendees clad in costumes, formal wear, or even alternative fashions popular in Japan. Come to the Amaranth Ball to kick off your Manifest weekend, or simply to enjoy a unique evening of fine dining and entertainment.

The Amaranth Anime Ball is presented by Manifest, which means that your Manifest weekend is expanded to a fourth day; however, you do not need to attend Manifest to attend Amaranth - and vice versa. This unique night is a dance ball which will give Manifest attendees the opportunity to kick off the weekend in style, as well as providing non-Manifest attendees a simple night of fun.
